Luxury Solar Power Catamaran gold.
Bakri Cono Shipyard is the renowned specialist in Asia for custom yachts of any kind - sail, power, mono and multihulls up to 150 feet. The innovative yard conceives highly value-added boats in collaboration with naval architect, Albert Nazarov, and his international team at Albatros Marine Design.
BAKRI CONO / NORTHOP & JOHNSON AGREEMENT
In November 2014 Bakri Cono Shipyard and Northrop & Johnson signed an exclusive agreement to market and develop sales for the 65, 80 and 105 Power Catamarans. Northrop & Johnson, founded in 1949, has a reputation in yachting as the world's foremost authority on sale, purchase, charter, management and new construction of luxury superyachts. Bakri Cono's collaboration with Northrop & Johnson's resulted in an increased interest in larger yachts while incorporating environment-friendly boating and green, fuelsaving technologies.LUXURY YACHTS BUILT IN THAILAND
Bakri Cono's HELIOTROPE 65', fits those requirements perfectly. Launched last year and debuting at PIMEX 2015 and Pattaya 2015 yacht shows she attracted major attention as the first luxury solar-assisted yacht in the world. The Heliotrope 65 is a mixed energy watercraft including 35 sqm of the highest performance Solar panels, producing up to 7 kW of solar energy.
A sophisticated computerized system manages the energy consumption so the yacht can be anchored in tropical paradise and be fully operational without a sound. Running the 4x300 Lt deep freezer, 2 kitchen fridges, 279 Led Hella marine lights, 4 plate induction cooker, 8kg washing machine, dish washer and the air-con is no problem at all. Without humming engine or generator noise in the background spoiling the mood, one can listen to the Multizone Fusion entertainment system playing softly, while watching the stars and the yacht's 14 blue underwater lights.PMG MARINE COMPLEX
With several orders on the books, the shipyard decided they would soon need more space and the yard moved to larger premises this year. Bakri Cono's new home is at PMG Marine, Thailand's largest shipyard complex measuring over 20,000 sqm. The yard was rigourously renovated, improved and extended and now has 6 individual production units, each from 1200 to 1250 sqm and 12 meters high. All units have individual water and power supplies, office space, bathrooms, storage facilities and direct access to the sea. Several production units are still available for a long lease period.LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
PMG Marine Complex is strategically located on the Eastern Seaboard of the Gulf of Thailand, 1 kilometer from the Commercial Deep Sea Port of Mat Ta Put, facilitating overseas export. Bangkok Airport is a 2-½ hour drive and the International Airport of U-Tapao a half-hour car ride away. Furthermore the yard will be close to the train station of the soon to be constructed Bullet Train scheduled to run from Bangkok to Rayong.

REASONS TO RENT PRODUCTION UNITS AT PMG COMPLEX
The shipyard is under European management and production units 1, 2 and 5 of the shipyard comply with German Lloyd Standards, which allows yachts to be built "In Class".
There is the possibility to obtain B.O.I. Tax exemption privileges.
A fresh water trial basin of 24 x 11m is located on site to conduct 95% of the regular sea trial and water proofing tests (for yachts up to 80'), without bringing salt water and mud onto the newly constructed yacht.
A wide launching ramp provides easy access to the waterfront.
The beach area in front of the yard measures 4000 sqm. There are several independent workshops, including an upholstery facility and conference rooms, separate air-conditioned storage for chemical products and administrative facilities are available on 'space sharing' basis in sector 3.
The site is well protected: it is not only gated but also has 24 hours security.
The shipyard has a strong environmental commitment: rainwater is collected, filtered and recycled for use in the shipyard. Soon, solar energy will be used for part of the daily power needs.
Looks also matter and - quite unusual for a factory site – trees, a flourishing garden and well-tended, immaculate grounds surround the yard.
Individuals and parties interested to lease production units are invited to contact Bakri Cono for more information.
