United Yacht Sales currently has Lady Gail, that same Sea Ray L550 Fly you’re daydreaming of, listed for $1.49 million. Whether it’s a daytrip or a weekend sojourn, this 2018, three-stateroom flybridge yacht has the amenities for the cruising family.
The Sea Ray L550 Fly has a galley-aft layout and it’s positioned to easily serve guests in the salon and the cockpit. Nearly 360 degrees of glass keep everyone in the salon connected to the sea. The yacht’s two-seat lower helm station is forward and to starboard. Abaft the helm is a lounge area with facing sofas.

Hampton built its Endurance 680 for serious long-range cruising, using a solid fiberglass laminate from the keel to six inches above the waterline. The yacht also has a Kevlar-reinforced collision zone from the bow area 12 feet aft under water and stretching to port and starboard another 12 feet.
But the builder’s attention to detail doesn’t stop at the hull construction, Yachting previously reported.

The ‘A’ in SL96A stands for asymmetric and Sanlorenzo achieves this unique design by, “Conserving only the gangway on the starboard side and eliminating the one on the port side, which shifts to the roof of the superstructure,” says Sanlorenzo. “The asymmetrical configuration, seen on SL102A first, frees up about 10 square meters of space for internal use. With respect to a traditional layout, this arrangement offers more space, improving luminosity and flexibility.”
Furniture placement in the salon helps to define the yacht’s social spaces. A six-person L-shaped settee and ottoman are immediately to starboard with only a cabinet separating the settee from the sliding glass doors leading to the cockpit. A formal dining space for eight guests is adjacent to the salon’s settee, a feat only achieved because of the extra space afforded by the asymmetrical design.
