TB Marine have partnered up with Turkish commercial boat and yacht manufacturer Lynx to develop a new 11,90 meter mini expedition boat (14,90 including hydraulic platform)

Lynx have been designing two different commercial fishing boats for the Norwegians which is expected to be in production early September.

The feedback from the fishermen in Scandinavia has been great and we are expecting nothing less of the new mini expedition boat.

The concept of the new mini expedition boat is done by YZC who are an experienced design team with great track records to both commercial markets and government. Partner of TB Marine Roar “Sam“ Nilsen is confident bringing in commercial technology into the private boat market is the right step to make.

Providing an ingenious open deck area and delivering more living space than traditional yachts of her length. The UHV40 measures 20 metric tons and can be registered under 11.90 meters load line length but conveys the comfort and space of a much larger yacht alongside the speed advantages of a semi-displacement yacht.

With naval architecture and design provided by YZC Design, the UHV40 provides the space and volume benefits of a much larger vessel thanks to her revolutionary full-wide-body design generating more than 35 sqm of indoor living space as well as 42 sqm of exterior decks.

Optimized for both full and semi-displacement cruising, the UHV40 fits perfectly between the slow full displacement yachts and the rapid planing yachts. The stable, beamy hull complemented by optional active fin stabilizers, guarantees full comfort at anchor.
