Travel the world in safety, comfort, and style aboard this voyager, capable of taking on any challenge.

Baglietto, the historical shipbuilder in La Spezia, Italy, has a revolutionary new design by Santa Maria Magnolfi. The Baglietto 43m Explorer is part of an increasing yacht range, capable of meeting even more diverse wishes and requirements. Most important, though, this explorer ensures maximum seaworthiness, comfort, and safety in all sea conditions. The builder and designer therefore painstakingly analyzed all the features and functions required for using the yacht year-round, in any climate. This included building on the stylistic heritage of different sectors: workboats, warships and, obviously, yachts.

Large windows let in plenty of natural light and ensure constant interaction with the landscape. Vertical elements with metal finishes convey a sense of safety and sturdiness indoors, too. Furthermore, alternating with pleasant shades of natural materials, they create the perfect backdrop for objects from far-away countries that tell compelling stories, just like a captain’s logbook. In fact, the Baglietto 43m Explorer has large display cabinets and wide shelves specifically to showcase precious objects gathered from seas across the globe. Finally, Italian marbles and exotic woods combine with ancient Moroccan straw mats and Indian silk fabrics.

The 58-square-meter upper deck is yours as the owner. Depending on your preference, the entrance salon up here can be open to everyone. Alternately, you can limit access, to create an entirely private deck. The master cabin’s size, meanwhile, is truly unrivalled for a yacht in this class. The windows on three sides offer an impressive open view forward. Outside, besides the dining area and a sunbathing area, you have a wide helipad. It’s 96 square meters when closed and 55 square meters when open. It’s also extremely versatile, capable of hosting glamorous parties or, conversely, featuring simple, functional furniture.

On the main deck, the Baglietto 43m Explorer has a large, full-beam salon with ceiling-high windows. A winter garden (an area that is considered “outdoor,” but is in fact enclosed by glass and air conditioned) works as a filter between the salon and the aft deck. Since it’s in a low, barycentric position, the winter garden can also be used as a salon in bad weather conditions.

Exterior areas are just as adaptable. For example, the outdoor dining area on the upper deck has sliding glass doors and air conditioning. Additional sliding glass panels can connect the stairs from the upper deck to the lower deck. This way, guests can access the spa/fitness area in the transom without ever stepping outside.

Exploring allows catching sight of whales or simply enjoying the view. That’s why the Baglietto 43m Explorer sundeck is a real observation area. While furnished with sofas and sunpads, it’s a much more minimal style. Polished floors, typical of ice breakers and workboats, replace teak, for instance. Also on this deck, the bridge house draws inspiration from the military world, but features an elegant restyling and sophisticated finishes.
